Wild and Crazy Kids

Remember that show, wild and crazy kids, it was on nickelodeon...I always wanted to be a kid on that, thinking about it now though, I don't know how crazy I am, me and Chuck arrived in Reno safely, but instead of a wild adventure we pretty much just ate at a buffet, and came back to the hotel room and now chuck is sleeping. We did get a little adventurous with the buffet, I tackled about 5 pounds of snow crab and had five different types of desserts, so there, put the wild back into our adventure. I'll update again tomorrow on the road to Tahoe. Stay thirsty my friends.

Utah isn't sooo bad.

So we spent half of the day in Utah with Dan Choe, showed us around got some mexican food at the red iguana, they had some "mole" food which was good, I've never had it before, after that we went to the crap i forgot the name, foothills i think. It over looks the skyline of Utah, in my head I was thinking eh, skyline, whatever, I know Mark Ro really likes them so I figure hey, maybe I can make a few bucks out of this. Dan shows us this huge, looking hill that is over looking the city, he asks us if we want to go up it, I say sure, it doesn't seem so bad, I could use a little exercise...wrong answer, that was the hardest thing I've done all year. Sure go ahead call me a girl, It was seriously tough, the air was thin, we didn't even make it up all the way because I was slipping down the mountain with my sandals on. After the sore butt muscles and lack of breath, we took a minute to take in the beautiful sky of Utah, when traveling we did our photography but was hard to just sit there and marvel at the beautiful scenery in front of us. I say we sat there for like 15 minutes more because I was trying to just catch my breath. We ended up walking down and taking some more pictures of ourselves because well, we love ourselves. Dan looked like a boy from China who had just ran over. Today was a good day, we took our time driving, played 9 holes of golf in wyoming with the mountains as our background and then met up Dan in Utah. Blowing bubbles in tea

Chuck is blowing bubbles in his tea. Does anyone else think that that's funny? If you do, raise your hand. It's our second day at yellowstone and it's been pretty crazy, bison, elk, and other animals roam around free, I was chased by a bison, and me and chuck walked through a herd with babies while people were watching waiting for us to get pummeled, then a lady scolded us for being dangerous and daring, more pictures to show on that later. As for the famous Old Faithful, don't waste your time, just throw some mentos into a diet coke bottle and you'll be more amazed. If you don't know about diet coke and mentos, then you should really try it. We just finished lunch and are going back out for some more walking. It snowed last night and our tent didn't fair so well against the cold. I woke up around 4 to find myself alone and cold... Where was Chuck? Dead? I used my spidey sense to pick up on a car running, heater blasting and radio playing. That little! Left me in the tent to freeze while he was enjoying heat! He said he had a headache and went outside to get fresh air, but the air in the tent and the air outside seem pretty much the same to me. Tonight I'm going to steal the keys and leave him. So Sick.

So sick, I'm not sick of love songs like neyo, i mean seriously is it that hard to turn off the radio? Actually, I guess it is, there was this one time when this girl...oh. no but really the landscape here is so sick, nothing else to really say, I mean where in a week can you ride through a city, desert, mountains, mountains with snow, and corn fields. It has been one of the most amazing experiences. We just drove down a mountain where I really was holding my breath because Chuck would be driving about 60-65 mph down a slick mountain road while it was snowing. I just don't know how much more luck we have. kidding...kind of. We shall post some more pictures of snow, and grand canyon like terrain. We're sitting outside of Dirty Annie's enjoying the view and some free wifi. Let me take a picture with my computer( i love my mac)

American Roadtrip: a photographic journey

The reason I got into photography, well art, is because I was never good at describing things in words, during the course of this trip, I've discovered the joy of blogging, I was never good at grammar like predicate nominatives and so on. I remember I tutored some kids and they would ask me grammar questions, I would just tell them to look it up, and i refused to tell them the right answer...probably because I didn't really know what I was doing. I won't tell you which academy I taught at. haha. uh oh. right, so back to my deep profound blog about photographs. Before the trip began I really wanted to form some kind of cohesive idea that I could put together so I could make a book, probably not published by a company but just something I would make by myself. I'm still not sure of what I want to do, but here are some pictures that I liked over the last couple of days, I can't say that I'm happy with my pictures but sometimes its really more about the experience, and this journey through the country from east to west has been incredible. I wanted to do a big photo post, because me and Chuck may be without internet while we are at Yellowstone. So until next time.
